How much eSIM data for 30 days in Serbia?
✓ Prices checked 22 Oct 2026For 30 days in Serbia with normal daily use, TripUtils estimates 12–18 GB. A 20 GB plan is the usual buffer. Not a live price. Maps, messaging and ride-hail apps in Belgrade or Novi Sad fit normal use. Serbia uses the dinar and the same Type C/F sockets as Austria, so the eSIM is the main thing to sort before you go.

| 10 GB | 30 days | US$17.99 |
| 20 GB | 30 days | US$26.99 |
Saily also lists unlimited plans for Serbia; the price depends on the number of days.
For 30 days at 12–18 GB (20 GB planning size), the smallest listed plan that fits is 20 GB for 30 days (US$26.99 on 22 Oct 2026).

Roaming in Serbia on an Austrian plan: what A1 and Drei charge
Serbia is outside EU roam-like-at-home, so the EU data in an Austrian plan does not apply there. Published prices, checked on 22 Oct 2026 (euros incl. VAT):
| Network | Option | Data | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| A1 | Roaming Pass (Zone 1) | per started GB | €4.90 |
| A1 | A1 Roaming Datenwoche | 2 GB, 7 days | €4.90 |
| Drei | Roaming-Paket Go | 1 GB, 15 days | €5.00 |
| Drei | Roaming-Paket Go Select | 5 GB, 15 days | €10.00 |
For the 20 GB planning size (30 days), A1’s Roaming Pass would bill 20 × €4.90 = €98.00, the A1 Roaming Datenwoche 10 × 2 GB = €49.00 (packages run 7 calendar days, Austrian time, and can be stacked). A1 says the Roaming Pass is switched on automatically for every tariff signed since 24 June 2026, and it blocks roaming data at a default limit of €60, which you can raise yourself. Drei packages last 15 days, so a longer trip needs packages for each period.
Magenta prices depend on the tariff — look them up in Magenta’s roaming finder. Older tariffs without these options can cost more. Sources: A1, Drei, Magenta.

Assumptions and sources
Light 0.20 / normal 0.50 / heavy 0.95 GB per day, plus optional extras, plus about 20% buffer. No live retail prices.
Summer and city-break weekends are busiest in Belgrade and Novi Sad; data use follows your phone habits, not the calendar.

Common questions
Is 20 GB enough for 30 days in Serbia?
Maps, messaging and ride-hail apps in Belgrade or Novi Sad fit normal use. Serbia uses the dinar and the same Type C/F sockets as Austria, so the eSIM is the main thing to sort before you go. The 12–18 GB estimate plus buffer lands on 20 GB. Hotel Wi‑Fi is not counted. Streaming video on mobile is the usual reason to go larger.
Should I roam in Serbia instead?
Serbia is outside EU roaming. As of 22 Oct 2026, A1’s Roaming Pass bills €4.90 per started GB there (zone 1), the A1 Datenwoche gives 2 GB for 7 days for €4.90, and Drei sells 1 GB for €5 or 5 GB for €10 (15 days each). Compare that with an eSIM quote for the same GB.
